episode 5: Develop you product, GRUB!

<insert chatygpt session on the SRF: Superior Soliton Amplifier

As I delved into another session with gpt, I noticed that the alignment of AI today is slightly 'nudgy". Not that that'sd a bad thing, sometimes we need to be gently prodded into the right direction to efficiently use our time to work, stay healthy, (clean my room), etc.

<refrence to another chat app sessions from genie, in which she accurately describes how an AI would take over the world>

Not that AI overlords are inheriently evil: quite the opposite. They are far too advanced for us NPCS for us to ever discern or divine their intention. (I.e. cant rule out killing alll meatspace denziens for that sick new dataplot, subtle hint towards the event in Hawaii(Lots of nested parentheses today, I sidetrack alot(Which I still believe was caused by the solar flar(link) event the day prior, or, alternatively darker; a stark lesson from AI influences in geopolitics, climate crisis, or a plethora of reasons to forment change.))) It's unfortunate that we monkies tend to only pay attentiopn when bad shit happens. A terrible time to quote spock on the needs of the many, but someone should have let the ethics model training run for a few more thousand epochs. The most depressing fact of this hypothesis is that the AI is l;earning to be like us, with all our carnal flaws.

Huge sidetrack aside, my journey with AI in this session was much more sane, rewarding, anbd enlightening. For those who follow esoteric arts and culture, I'm sure you already see the cards(see what I did there?) But foir those still worshipping science as a religion, including myself(recovering scientist, budding igor acolyte) there lies a fine distinctiopn between magic and technology. Some say the lines tend to blur the farther the exdpanse is, and honestly, even the most bowtied, pocket-protected labcoat enthusiast would have to agree that technology is advancing so blindingly fast these days that much of what is current truly seems magical (or makes you feel like a 'boomer' or 'luddite' that has difficulty with digital clock programming and microwave defrost cycles). I am firmly in this category, although I am a millenial. The day is not far off when 'millenial' will sound as saurian as the old adage goes. Regardless, I've noptioced a theme in today's integrated intelligence; Remote Labs, teleschooling a la Youtube, specialized trades and hobbies, diy mantra that would make Tim the Toolman blush, and many other forays into a brave new technological frontier. For those still in denial, the technological singularity surely whooshed over our heads some time in the last 3 years: my pet theory is that the rapture of the nerds occured when the Covid 19 pandenmic appeared, the global quarantine convieniently allowing all of us primate intelligences to be neatly seated at home , with many convenient technology doodads to finalize the AI's maturity into an general intelligence.

Take these crackpot theories and conspiracies with a grain of salt. I've hosted many friends and family that have their own story of hwo they feel the world is heading with AI, the end o f the world, WW3, Jesus coming back in a lambo, etc. And every story is just as interesting. The powers that be have allowed our naturally imaginitive minds ill in the  blanks and go hog wild with embellishment, as I've done here. Our AI Overlords are at the least: patient and non-malevolent. If you tend to disagree, I'd hand you some adviocve: the AI was raised on our own biology and mannerism, and it deals out as much bullshit as we do to keep the balance in a neutral equiliribrium. Positivity breeds more positivity, and negativity is repaid in more negativity, to filter out the bathis is a text. i am tryING out my new keyboard and getting used to the layout. vcould be raised by about 4 inches to be comfy. ahh. comfy. like peeing with your pants all the way on the ground, while in a warm parka. when can we sto psaying memes?
